Happy Holidays from Healthy by Kiona

Wow!  2008 has come and nearly gone.  This is a bit late even still, but I hope it finds you well!  It has certainly been historic at every turn.  Read on for a recap of a little of what happened in the HBK personal world.  Stay tuned in 2009 for plenty of new developments!  We will be starting up our week night classes again in several locations.  We will be adding more locations on weekends and I will be running the 60 day challenge fro January to March!  Stay tuned for more details.

I adjusted well to her new surroundings at MRA with great new co-workers and some old friends.  She enjoyed what she was doing, worked hard with interesting new clients, & found herself unexpectedly promoted to Team Leader in April.  Outside work she kept very busy with her thriving T-Tapp business.  Working along side her chiropractor Dr. Chad Blaker, her homeopath Raquel Rosas & an Ethiopian Women's Health Group her class sizes grew & she increased her teaching from 1 night a week to three.  She also traveled to teach in Orlando and in Houston and soon New York.  For relaxation she continued dancing.  She did a choreographed routine with her Lindy Hop teacher.  She even won at a couple local competitions with the routine.  She also competed in West Coast Swing and Hustle winning a few gold medals  and even squeezed in a showcase routine in Hip Hop along the way.

The company where my husband, Bryan was Director of Finance was shut down end in April.  He decided that he no longer wanted to pour his efforts into someone else's dreams so instead he decided on entrepreneurship.  He co-founded Corridor Tax and Accounting, LLC, a unique accounting practice where he could help people with their tax matters and advise those interested on real estate investments.  To support the real estate side of the practice, he practices real estate brokerage with Keller Williams.  You can find out more about his special offers for HBK clients at

Our family grew by one...feline that is.  Tux was 1 in a litter of 5 discovered to be cast away under our shed.  Not sure what happened to the rest of them; but, the dapper black and white one was invited to join Treasure and Spirit in our cozy and dry home.  Spirit has a new buddy and, well Treasure is still not sure about the whole adoption process.
